Meet the Doctor

Dr. Laurenti was born in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario and attended St. Mary's College, graduating in 1977.  He has always been interested in health care, and graduated from the Toronto Institute of Medical Technology (since renamed the Michener Institute) in 1980 as a Registered Radiological Technologist.  Dr. Laurenti was employed full-time at the Plummer Memorial Hospital from 1980 until 1984, at which point he further pursued his education by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Lake Superior State College in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan.

 

Dr. Laurenti had always wanted to become a doctor to aid as many people as possible to heal, so in 1987 he was accepted at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, graduating Cum laude in 1991.  Dr. Laurenti purchased an existing practice in Espanola, Ontario, and has had past satellite clinics in Little Current and Spanish, with a current satellite clinic in Elliot Lake.

Dr. Laurenti has taken further courses in acupuncture from McMaster University, and is fully licensed to practice in the province of Ontario.  He is a Fellow of the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture.  Dr. Laurenti practices hands on chiropractic technique (diversified), Activator technique, and cranial adjusting, as well as consulting patients in exercise rehabilitation, nutrition, and wellness.

 

Dr. Laurenti is a member of the Ontario Chiropractic Association, the Canadian Chiropractic Association and the Canadian Chiropractic Protective Association.
